I'll start with a makeup tip, something I learned through trial & error when busking as a Living Statue in New Orleans::: For makeup that will stay on through anything, start with setting spray, and over that apply your makeup. The best I found was Mehron Cream Blend stick makeup, by far. Set it with the powder of your choice, (but not baby powder, real setting powder) and with a makeup pad really push the powder in. With a light brush remove any excess powder, then apply another layer of setting spray.

Honestly, I sweat like a pig when it's really hot, and July & August in New Orleans kicked my ass - but the makeup stayed on even though sweat was dripping down my entire body. As you see in the photo, my garb as a statue is thick - but hell, people loved it, and the makeup stayed on even though sweat was dripping through it. I've tried many brands of makeup, but in my experience, Mehron is by far the best.
